How Project Solutions Become Products

Standard solutions often begin life as custom projects for a particular customer. If a custom solution proves to be a first-class tool, it becomes interesting for other customers in the same market environment. Through further development and interdisciplinary collaboration with partners, a project solution can be turned into a marketable product. Examples of this include the iBS Standard Reporting Tool, a solution for preprocessing reporting data, and the iBS Project Financing Tool. These custom solutions, developed as part of a series of projects with Aareal Bank, were enhanced together with our customers and SAP and evolved into successful standard products for the financial market.
